After shopping in Chinatown, I realized that we hadn't ate anything for lunch. Probably we were too absorbed shopping and the complimentary buffet breakfast at the Concorde was very filling. Anyway, my parents said that the iced mata kuching drink we consumed at the Chinatown was enough for them.
We headed back for the hotel and reclined on the bed watching the tsunami reports on CNN before my brother pestered us to go swimming at the pool below. I was delighted at the idea of going to the sauna and then swimming but was extrememly annoyed when my mother confessed that she had forgotten to pack my swmming wear. Oh well.

KL was quite nice,even though there was an incident where we got lost following the monorail track and ended up nowhere near the Concorde. It was already 12 midnight so we had to hail a cab back the the hotel. Hey, at least we managed to burn off the calories from the lunch at the Manhatten's Fish Market and the dinner at McDonald's.
There wasn't much shopping for us though. But I still enjoyed myself walking in Chinatown, hunting among the stalls for a good bargain for an imitation tee shirt. In the end, we ended up buying our tee-shirts at the same shop as the last time we were here. I got myself a maroon Stussy imitiation, Ma had an Armani khaki tee and Dad baragined for a white Adidas shirt. It was a reasonable bargain, 50 Rm for all. Later, Ma bargained for a blue Adidas pair of shoes with grey stripes. She said something about wanting to take up walking. Anyway, it fit me perfectly so I didn't say anything.

WHEW.I just returned from Malyasia yesterday. We were heading for Kuala Lumpur in our car when the tsunami struck. Thank goodness we weren't anywhere near Penang or Kedah. My uncle and aunt were also with us. It was a terribly squashy experience considering how six of us were cramped into a five-seater car. We left for the expressway at about 9am and only reached KL at about 3pm beacuse of the breaks in between. Then, we checked in at the Concorde. While we were walking down the winding marble staircase, my wonderful brother decided to be Ms.Universe 2004 and did the hand-waving and smiling elegantly thing. Unfortunately for him,it didn't sink into his brain not to use the steep part. So, he tumbled down the whole length of the stairs very un-MsUniversely much to the amusement of the hoteliers. After that very tickling incident, he was very quiet and guai for the next couple of hours or so, holding on to my father's hand like a good boy.

Mrs.Tan called. She asked me whether I wanted to consider going to 3/1 because it seemed that there were a lot of vacancies there. Obviously, I said no. I mean, I cannot afford to stay back 3 times a week because I have my CCA and prefects and Tamil class and piano and all that.

8am-Gosh!I thought I'll be like so freaking late when i reached the school five mins late.But in the end,it turned out that most of them hadn'e turned up yet. The hall only seemed really full at aroung 8.30am.Hmpph!So much for punctuality,huh?
It seems that our school prefects invited the SJI prefects to join us today since we were like the brother-sister school.
