Week 2 marked the start of school for all us CJCians. How exciting. I was immensely relieved that we will only be getting back our results for MYE next week. Frankly, my expectations weren't that high to begin with. And not much has changed after post-mortem was done for Geog today. Trust Mr Tay and his dark sense of humour. But then again, it takes one to know one.
Another reason to loathe the commencement of each new term: the deep hole it burns in your pocket. Yes, I refer to the overwhelming amount of money that is to be forked out for Maths notes, admin work, charity donations, class funds and what nots. I wryly note here that education comes at a price. Literally.
And oh my goodness, PTM is in two weeks' time. Coincidentally, on the same day that the Harry Potter book is coming out. Hmm. At this point, I can tell you that I reluctantly anticipate both. If only there was such a thing as the TimeTurner; how I wish to turn back time! But on second thought, being spontaneous is part of life as well. Que sera, sera.
