I only have God to thank for this wonderful week! ((:
On Thursday, I met up with Miss Koh aka smelly fishy!!! We went to visit IJ to enquire about the teaching there (omg that reminds me I have yet to email them about the form) but sadly since it was holidays there weren't any teachers around. Some HOD meeting, so a bit of a letdown. Then we ambled over to Val's place. Omg blonde moment I called the wrong Val!(sheepish grin). Best part was when I asked her to hold and told Fishy and Eliza and she overheard me and she was like,
"Omg Jocelyn I can't believe you called the wrong Val. You are so. Random!"
Finally met the REAL and not complex Val downstairs her house there. And chatted for a bit before we left for the Esplanade!! (you can just ignore the exclamation marks from now) You have to realise the last time I went there was like, during the Old Testament. So went to the library and omg they have scores! and such an alluring variety too -ranging from James Bond theme songs to Beatles to Madonna to even Grease and musicals and get this, there's a piece called El Dorado as well! So you can imagine how jilted I felt when we learnt you have to subscribe to the Premium plan to borrow):
After the trip, went to lunch at Subway (and I didn't have my card what did you know) and talked quite a bit. Before heading to PS to Daiso and Yamaha. And went home after that (: YAY.
Friday
Met up with the classssssss at Redhill to go to Deborah's church (: I was on time OKAY, just got a wee bit confused over the directions shouted at me from Hao Wen on the phone haha thank god nothing happened. Chuan and Marcus were there as well! Her church is pretty cosy, nice people, and warm atmosphere. Played some icebreaking anti social game cos we were highly distrustful of each other HAHA, and Deb performed!!!
After which, we left at a scandalously late hour to catch the last bus to town. And omg KFC CLOSED. So RANNNN to Mac's within a 5 minute deadline and took the LAST 171 to her place. And guess who cycled over to say hi? Toon! (: He live just next to Hao's small world huh. Movie marathon the whole night till 6am, I KOed during Pretty Woman oops then went home around 9am. THEN BOWLING OMG FIRST TIME!
So happy man (:
(need to end the post a bit anti climax cos low battery)
Santa Claus is coming to town.

Well I obviously didn't have the good fortune of bumping into him. Because, as a matter of fact I was in town for the past two days!
Tuesday
Met up with the class girls for DIM SUM BUFFET at VIVO. Late. But not the latest heng :P The restaurant was HUGE! O.O It spanned the entire 4th level, and to think they didn't even open the ballrooms. Needless to say, the food was spectacular, I remember we kept ordering and felt super bloated after stuffing our fried wantan faces. Lucky we walked around ALOT after eating looking for Deborah's dress. Actually felt queasy abit, but thank goodness it got better after listening to Hao's dramatic antics and laughing alot. Then some of us headed down to Marina area to comb the stores there, before going home. I <3 Eleven alot!
Wednesday
Woke up at a scandalously late hour. Then cleared my entire study area full of Paper 4 notes and my maths files (which I didn't even read), and went to run a few errands at NTUC and the wet market. Even the mama at the mamak shop at the void deck was gesturing at my multitude of plastic bags and nodding his approval. Then cooked a hasty lunch of pasta with mushrooms, before meeting Carmen and Ivena to look for her Prom stuff in town. Quite eventful, we bumped into Guin, who was thoroughly exhuasted from her fruitless search, and shamlessly dragged her along. Haha. Went home having walked a thousand miles in my kampung slippers, I suppose its burning off all the accumulated calories from bumming around in the library for the past month.
Tmr, another exciting day awaits! (: If only the money could just come rolling in as well. ANYBODY WANTS ENGLISH TUITION?
Freedom came at 458.

As I nodded, nearly napping
suddenly there came a tapping,
as of someone gently rapping,
rapping at my chamber door.
It was 50 Cent.
I abhor Poe. He gives me mental blockages, despite my conscientious efforts to actually read Ligeia and FOHOU right before the paper, and to what extent I ask you? My answers were totally obscurity of meaning with a unity of idiotic effect - I pray that I may not be melancholy on my results day.
FREEDOM! FREEDOM, BABY! :D I'm finally freed from the education system that has binded me from primary school, all the EM1 EM2 segregation Higher Mother Tongue whatnots ECA CCA, to secondary school double science CCA Higher again, and through 2 years of junior college.
(so what I do now?)
Like Pip, the whole world lays spread before me. Plans, lunch dates, badminton meetups, movies, outings, concerts, retreats, and birthday blasts! (: Muchly looking forward to a month of frivolous partying, revelling and merry making within the Budget.
Last week was awesome I may or may not have:
1) Gone for classouting - MADAGASCAR! Waiting for Jacq to update her blog so I can kope peektures shamelessly.
2) Ya Kun with Joel on Friday morning - chitchat makankaki session and failed attempt to plan CA gathering before going to school and meeting up Ivan and the computing guys, learned to play my first game on a PSP
3) Meeting up with Mama Li and Ivena to go to SMU for Top Secret Misson HAHA
4) Dated a divorcee who just broke up with her husband this week. WHO AH WHO AH HAHA.
I'm so excited for what the holidays have in store for me man. TOTALLY.
Here. Comes. Me!
Larger than life and twice as ugly.

I decided to resist the temptation and resurrect my blog, for I figured a post A level one will see me with a failing memory to recall. Okay, A levels? I seriously don't know what Cambridge is trying to do with us. Compared to last year, I thought this year's questions weren't as straightforward and needed some thinking. And I vaguely remember someone saying that by the time you hit As, you shouldn't be thinking cos you went through the motion enough to simply copia verborum you way through already.
GP: Nothing on mass media, no censorship, no rights, no family, no youth, no crime and punishment. AND my AQ is eternal damnation.
Math: If it weren't for paper 2, I would never be able to save my sorry ass. And Bhart's praying for divine intervention for the T test and getting the sign through the crucifix in the hall was just pure hilarous haha.
Econ: Essay BAD. Case study managable.
Geog: So so.
Lit paper 1: Can do.
It kind of hit me, when the history people ended on Thursday and were proclaiming their freedom down the foyer stairs, that all us CJ people will never officially see each other again :/That we don't have a legal reason to don the blue uniform. That we don't have a good reason to actually visit CJ again, or see the teachers for consultations/hang in the canteen/night study etc. It just hit me then. My geog classmates and Frippiat have ended papers already. I wish I could end earlier too, but then again I must grateful that I can crash course paper 4 in the time I have.
Friday's session in school was productive - after the Chem people left, I had the ENTIRE libary to myself with the exception of Fish and another guy who was studying. So peaceful (:
Been feeling rather unconnected from people lately - all the guys telling me their NS posting dates, people leaving for overseas, after youth group today too, maybe it's all the new members joining and the old ones not coming down :/
Friends and classmates, please don't be offended, but from now on, I would rather prefer to study by myself in the library because I really like having the space and the lack of having people to talk to. Having an entire table to yourself really forces you to focus and complete whatever you set out to do.
I'm thinking of giving tuition, finally acceding to my mom's idea-dropping haha. No idea what I can teach though, apart from English.
