After 9 official days of work, I have:

-been almost held accountable for 19 cases of missing abalone giveaways with minimum purchase with a very flustered Melissa rushing down and cool-headed Sherwin and Beng exchanging silent murmurs over my incompetency
-had lunch with my supervisor who apparently thought that I thought she was a "tiger, don't so scared" and ranted on about the injustices meted to her (after that she was noticeably nicer to me in the mornings when I rushed down for briefings, offering me her pen to sign attendance)
-lost a 50 dollar gift voucher
-been left completely alone and helpless (again, pure incompetency) last night because of the fluster surrounding AMD and CMS which had me counting money from the open till at 10pm

That aside I also have
-played Sudoku yesterday in my idle hours of boredom in the absence of customers which had Beng owning my ass, progressing from moderate to difficult while I was a lowly Easy
-engaged in unconstrutive bitching sessions and politikzx surrounding certain people and their mannerisms. actually more like i just listen to them. haha.
-felt sorry for MM, because he's just those overly dedicated dudes who is a perfectionist in every aspect but just rubs people the wrong way with his untactful requests
-broken a lock in record time. World Traveller luggage. earned some street cred.
-acted like a complete bimbo (but still unpretty) with people she thought whom were her age but turned out to be 23 zomg years old
-officially labelled "Loser" by Beng because of her consistent failure at Bingo games. I lost 8 times in a row. Seriously.

Jocelyn: Eh, you how old?
Beng: 23, Syafiq also.
Jocelyn: WHATT! He's 23?! So you know him before la!
Beng: Why must know him?
Jocelyn: Same age what!
Beng: Doesn't mean same age must know what!
I still can't believe I'm actually considered young. I was called XIAOMEI. GOODNESS. And Eileen told him off for bullying kerchee, which I think means small in Malay. Still coming to terms with that, and people forever trying to guess my ethnicity. Haha.
Smoking is bad, dudes. Quit. Seriously.

Despite the hours that rob me of any free time other than off days (I work weekends too, so can't go to church all) and despite my CONfirm fail cashering skills, I must say 9 days sure does alot of things to you. It's probably one of those experience tests I got, being posted to a section by myself, having received no training, and being taught by random promoters. Usually with me, it's theory before practical not practical all the way haha. But at least I know where I stand now, and to probably be more proactive and independent. And more confident too with handling money. I also make a conscientious effort to be on time which really has an awesome feeling. Punctuality is so much better falling in love HAHA. With the exception of today because the elevator takes 200 years to come so I jumped down the escalators in the morning for briefing and walked straight into Mark >.<

Oh today was hilarious, because I was too short to hang up the mobiles for CMS and AMD even with the stool and with some perm staff asking me to "careful careful". I think the manager was so fed up she just asked Sherwin to do it instead:/ Fed up partly because I wasted one trip to Level 5 to get the WRONG sign omG hit me please.

I'm starting to get used to work now, and all the amusing moments that come with it, solitary breaks, and idle hours of nothingness. Pity it's gonna end next week, really gonna miss the people more than the job.

P.S and they found the abalone. at the atrium like HELLO it wasn't me.
