Jocelyn A. Monique
is currently an undergraduate student, and coping with her Resolutions

Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.
-Betrand Ruse
Badminton with Fishy was long delayed and enjoyableeee at Bishan. Though we did get distracted now and then by the mysterious fruit pickers and the perils of the Slope. After which we Yoshinoya-ed for lunch =) <----fishy's famous smiley face. Then for dinner, it was off for a 21st birthday in Little India. Great crowd turnout, and alot of really well-heeled people.
Now is time to make those famous resolutions which hopefully I can keep. According to the emailcashpro guy, setting a resolution is technically more difficult than keeping it - cos the former requires aim and direction, whereas the latter is more of willpower and hard work. So for the year 2009, I hereby resolve for the following:
Punctuality
Biggest issue of the era. I'm NEVER good at this one. Friend meetups, work, school (okay only once), church meets, gatherings. I should stop assuming that I'm always late but worth the wait. For this I look up to Miss Koh for always being on time - she totally called me at 1030 ON THE DOT yesterday haha.
Self-esteem
Again, another issue that I'm still coping with. I guess now that I more or less do have a church life, I need to start believing in myself more in terms of handling the mu se work. I must not let inexperience get to me, although the legacy Carol has left behind is beyond words.
Ambition
Stop being so wishy washy and going with flowy thingy. Argh. I must have proper short term and long term goals that I wish to acheive in terms of uni application, the options which I have yet to consider etc etc etc.
Be Open.
The possibilities are infinite. I must learn to open my mind to new ideas, experiences, instead of being in the Comfort Zone which is generally preferred. Let go of the past, nostalgia helps once in awhile, but to be trapped in the past long gone is a bad thing. So I deleted your number. The world is yours, mine and ours after all.
Okay, I talked alot. So now I gotta put these words into action. God bless and peace. Let's embrace 2009.
