I'm not usually a big fan of Sunday night gatherings, but last night was definitely worth it (:

Baking for Noobs session #1
I was supposed to meet Fishy to bake the cookie first, so after submitting the form for camp (basket, waiting list!) pretty much her whole family picked me up from TP and I was chaffeured, to her place. Can't really say it was entirely effort on our part, seeing as how we had so much help from her family heh. I burnt myself ): nasty habit of leaning over the counter, without checking the hot kettle. Okay, the first batch of cookies were pretty okay, albeit sticking together because too much egg blegh - so we ended up with snowman shaped flat cookies. They sort of looked like tanned snowmen (summer edition) and inspired me until Fishy decapitated them. Haha. Second batch was super burnt, we left it too long in the oven and we had to throw it away. But third batch was better despite spooning smaller amounts of dough (it still flattened out anyway). Then we packed it inside the ziploc bag and wrote the card.

Before Dinner
I didn't know the Orchard underpass walkway was open! Didn't even realise we had walked from wisma until taka, was sauntering aimlessly looking at the large hordes of people a la sale mode when we bumped into Ade and Lynn. Then we sort of had the usual poor decision making skills moment before ending up in Breeks to eat - largely tempted by the 1-for-1 desserts, of course. Clarisse and Clara came later, so we ate first because we were famished like Ethopia haha.

Sunday was a good day for catching up with my old classmates ( actually we are still quite young but okayyy) - haven't seen some of them in person for quite long. Walking along town and soaking in the strangely quiet atmosphere was nice too - we had similar opinion about the gaudiness of Ion, poor place it's not even open yet we are such harsh critics.

I'm feeling accomplished because I have managed to finish alot of things that I wrote in the To-Do list - now I gotta find my missing charger and study for the test. Last day of work today! (: Oh, and God bless the adorable kids at mass yesterday who had their First Holy Communion- I remember when I had to dress in white and sat patiently myself.
